This year's Summit will take place in Luxembourg and will focus on some of the current issues affecting the installers sector:
the current shortage of craftsmen and the need for apprentices, the skyrocketing prices of materials and the long delivery times, and very centrally, energy production, energy saving and environmental policy. Exciting discussions and new ways and insights will be discussed here.

Within a fast changing environment focused on sustainability and energy transition, the successful transformation process relies on competences, knowledge and cooperations within the electrician, plumber and smart installer entrepreneurs.
Our summit slogan refl ects this commitment and we welcome the EuropeON, GCP Europe members as well as friends to share, nurture and strengthen our commitment for a safe future
The importance of electrical contractors has become increasingly evident during the Covid pandemic and the current and future need for energy supply security.
The opportunities related to sustainability and digitalisation are vast and support the new requirements of both governments and clients.
EuropeOn looks forward to discussing the criticality of engineering services in this rapidly changing world with our mechanical colleagues, so together we can optimise technology and make a real difference.
Europe is in the middle of a hyper-infl ation crisis, an energy crisis and still trying to fi nd a path out of the global pandemic. As an industry some of our most important challenges are indoor environmental quality and providing the next generation of heating and cooling systems.
These matters affect the daily lives of our 450 million citizens and building users. Together we have a strong coalition of mechanical and electrical installers.
We provide a European voice for our national associations to work with policy makers that will deliver a more sustainable built environment.

Luxemburg
At 9:00 am your guide and driver will pick you up at the hotel in Luxembourg City. You will first drive to the Müllerthal, Luxembourg's little Switzerland. The geological heritage of imposing sandstone cliffs with narrow crevices and deep gorges as well as the great plant diversity is shown by the Mëllerdall Nature & Geopark, which has been awarded the UNESCO Global Geopark label 2022. Depending on the weather conditions, you will take a short guided tour of Echternach, the oldest town in the country and the historical and cultural centre of the Mullerthal region. The city has preserved its medieval ambience: winding streets, remains and towers of the old city wall as well as a market square with a Gothic town house will take you back to times gone by. Alternatively, you can take a bus ride through the Müllerthal, where your guide will have plenty to tell you.
The next stop is the Aquatower. Here you will be expected for a guided tour. Immerse yourself in the fascinating world of drinking water and visit the 55-metre-high Aquatower. The exhibition with various interactive stations provides information on the topic of "water and geology". A special attraction is the ascent to the 50-metre-high viewing platform. Enjoy the impressive view over the surroundings of Berdorf before continuing to the restaurant for lunch together.
In the afternoon you continue your journey to the north of Luxembourg. The Éislek region impresses with lush forests, green hills, deep valleys and windy plateaus. You will visit the pumped storage power station in Stolzembourg, one of the most important in Europe. The natural conditions of the Our valley have made it possible to build a pumped storage power station that can store surplus energy and produce missing energy. The PSW, with a total capacity of 1,300 MW, is one of the largest in Europe. In the renovated visitor gallery, you will be presented with all the information about the facilities, but also about the major climate and energy issues of our time. After the tour, you will return to the Parc-Hotel Alvisse, where you will arrive at around 6:30 pm.
Friday, november 18th
Luxemburg
At 9:00 am your driver will pick you up at the hotel. Your journey will first take you to the south of Luxembourg, to the so-called Minett. The region in the south of Luxembourg is strongly influenced by its former industrial culture, but has been able to create a new identity for itself over time, in which the industrial past merges with new technologies to form a very special mix. You will first visit Esch-Belval. The exhibition entitled "La Cité des Sciences", presents the history of the transformation of the industrial wasteland of Belval and the construction of the Cité des Sciences. You will then discover Blast Furnace A on a fascinating tour of the heart of steelmaking, followed by a safe ascent to the top of the blast furnace platform at a height of 40 metres. From here you can enjoy a unique panoramic view.
After lunch together, you will leave the Minett region and continue to the Luxembourg Moselle. The Moselle runs as a romantic border between the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and Germany. To the right and left of the river lie the vineyards where the grapes for the wonderful Moselle wine ripen. Here you will visit a local winegrower who will tell you more about Luxembourg wines and production. A small tasting is not to be missed. Afterwards, you will return to the Parc-Hotel Alvisse, where you will arrive at around 18:00.
